So Much To Do--So Much To Say--And All At Once!
Hey, everybuddy! Thanks to a bad case of flu followed by a bad case of salmonella, I'm in a rush to get everything done, and I'm way behind! Despite this, IF-X #8 is RIGHT ON TIME! The ish will be out in time for Valentine's Day, so pre-orders are available--if you do so, you'll get an autographed copy!
With the issue, we're bringing in new sponsors, including Stan's Grocery, Wireless Star, and the Once Again Thrift Shop. Some of our favorite sponsors, Maria's Comida and Maine Street have had to drop due to financial concerns. Please drop in and tell them that you heard of them through Hamtramck Idea Men--SHOW THEM YOUR COMICS, if you can, and bring your friends! Help them see that our ads are worth something! When you do, tell us about your experiences! We want to know if you like them enough for us to pursue them as a sponsor.
We also have two events coming up... one of which is TODAY! (See? I told you I'm running late!) If you can, come see us at Green Brain Comics for a signing at 5pm until 7pm, the start of their monthly Comics Jam, a fun event in itself! Also, this weekend is Cryptic ConFusion, one of my favorite local conventions, where we will be selling our merchandise as well as doing voice performances for Radio Free Fandom and engaging in other hi- and lowjinks. Come see us there!
